For over twenty years, Baird Satellite Supporting Systems has provided mounting solutions to meet customer’s demands. Customer service and customer satisfaction
are our highest priorities.
At Baird, we manufacture strength and durability into every mounting system. All Baird
systems are tested to withstand the force of 125mph winds. Our mounts must pass our
in-house testing before being placed into production. This in-house testing subjects the
mount to simulated wind forces to determine the stiffness and overall strength of the
mounting system. Engineering test reports are available for each mounting system.
Fabricating a quality product is the goal at Baird. To achieve this goal we follow a systematic production plan. We only purchase quality materials from reputable suppliers. We have capable design and manufacturing teams that use current manufacturing technologies, including computer controlled saws and CNC bridge mill. Quality checks are implemented at every stage of production. This allows us to
produce accurate, reliable and consistent parts which ensures the installation of a Baird mount will be hassle-free.
When fabrication is complete, the parts are sent out to be hot-dip galvanized, a process by which the parts are dipped a bath of molten zinc. The galvanized product will withstand even the harshest environment for many years to come. The galvanized parts are then cleaned up and holes inspected for galvanizing build-up. The parts are sorted, packaged and stored in our large warehouse of finished products.
The Baird Satellite Supporting Systems facility is located in Waterloo, IA. This central location in the Midwestern United States allows us to offer an efficient, cost effective base for shipping from coast to coast and throughout the world.
