Wind Exposure Level: (pick one of the following that best describes the terrain surrounding the site)

Urban and suburban areas, wooded areas, or other terrain with numerous closely spaced obstructions having the size of single family dwellings or larger. Use of this exposure category shall be limited to those areas for which terrain representative of Exposure B prevails in the upwind direction for a distance of 1500ft. or 10 times the height of the building, whichever is greater.

Open terrain with only scattered obstructions, generally less than 30 ft. in height. This includes flat, open country and grasslands.

Flat, unobstructed areas exposed to wind flowing over large bodies of water. This exposure shall apply only to structures exposed to wind coming from over the water. Exposure D extends inland at least 1500 ft. or 10 times the height of the building, whichever is greater.

Wind load survival requirement:

(The wind speed that the mount must ballasted for to prevent sliding or overturning of the Baird mounting system. We have a wind speed chart from ANSI A58.1 for the United States. We will also do calculations based on a customers requested wind speed. We ask that the customer specify a wind speed for installations outside the United States.)
